Making films had been a pipe dream of mine for the longest time. Through good fortune I ended up working professionally in both feature and commercial films for little over half a decade. Over time I realised that the brand films I wanted to see weren’t being produced in Pakistan. By definition - films that challenge the perception and norms of their audience. I also saw how so many brilliant artists I knew simply didn’t have a community around them to enable their ideas. Those dots connected over time and fanned the flame to form faani films. A collective of artists and creatives primed to tell their story with no compromise or filter on their artistic choices and visual aesthetics. I sincerely hope you enjoy the work we do.

As a young boy, I was obsessed with the idea of making films and telling stories. This childhood dream of mine resurfaced when I got the opportunity to kickstart faani films with some of the most creative and talented people I knew. As a producer, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production, from the initial concept to the final product. This includes managing budgets, hiring crew members, and coordinating with the creative team to ensure that every detail is executed flawlessly. I am dedicated to producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences and tells compelling stories. I am passionate about bringing diverse voices and perspectives to the screen and creating films that make a positive impact on society.
